Seen in October

We love our Netflix. In October we saw:

Saved! - very funny but fell apart toward the end, lapsing into mainstream teen drama

The Butterfly Effect - interesting and entertaining, but it's so hard to not think of him as Kelso!

THX 1138 - weirder than we remembered

Under the Tuscan Sun - entertaining, nice scenery

Man on Fire - a rather gritty, disturbing tale, ran a bit long

Don't Tempt Me - Victoria Abril as an angel and Penelope Cruz as a emissary from hell, sent to earth to vie for the soul of a boxer; totally unique and lots of fun

The Weight of Water - a ponderous adaptation of the Anita Shreve novel; mostly just felt sad about Katrin Cartlidge being dead

And at the theatre, we saw I Heart Huckabees, which was a brilliant satire. A lot of mixed reviews had us feeling unsure of whether we wanted to see it. The New York Times review clinched it for us - if you're not sure, check out that review to make your decision.
